Bless My Only Loved One
Lord, you are mighty in pure knowledge and you know all things. You know the uttermost recesses of my mind and you plumb the depths of my heart. Lord, only you truly know just how earnest and deep my love is as I fall desperately in love with my only loved one. Only you Lord know how I long night and day for her to be blessed and coddled by you in your safe arms of love.
Lord, bless my only loved one with every heavenly blessing, both in her coming in and her going out, bless her in all her ways so that she rises up faithfully as a mighty pure love that blesses others worldwide. Teach her right words and with wisdom teach her words of knowledge for miraculous signs and wonders to follow her preaching the word. Lord, the only blessing and the only growth of faith is through scripture in all things. So give her depth and more wisdom to humbly serve as your world leader subject only to the heart of the Father found in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit in all things for the sake of all people. Grow her Lord as a tree living by streams of water and let her leaves never wither but she shall prosper in all she does.
Lord, you know just how deeply and innocently she has powerfully loved and committed herself to you and how she has suffered tragedy and for your gospel through her years. Reward her I pray with a double portion for all her loss and renew and replace all the years the locust has eaten. She has seen your face and in your immeasurable love you have miraculously healed her and lifted her to your face and kissed her with more as you grow her within her family.
Lord, love her deeply in dreams and visions and more miraculous signs and wonders that she may rejoice in you always and may she always find special close favour with you as she walks close beside you under your protective arm. Carry her when she is tired, like a toddler clasped to your safe chest carry her through the storms and the tempest, the winds and billows and the waves in every frightening nighttime til you bring her safely overland and into the morning light of quiet victory not just within her but all around her.
Lord I pain in love and longing for her, but you love her so much more carefully and deeply than my best efforts. As much as I love her and want to keep her for myself, I release her into your glorious care and your every desire for her both now and for her future. Cradle her in your arms tenderly Lord and sing soft songs of love and victory over her. I declare every foul trick and lie and burden of the enemy is broken and she is released always into further grace and favour with you. Bless her home and her family and her friends and bless her work and endeavours prospering her even as her soul prospers. Bless her dreams at night and keep her with victorious and wise visions from you to lead her on.
Last of all, bless her love for me and reward her for her every sacrifice and humble offering she has made in loving me with the greatest earthly love I have ever known. Knit us together and kindly bind us to one another with Christ.
